I started with simple storefront projects and moved toward harder challenges: migrations, integrations, wholesale purchasing and custom experiences.
I don’t think a business needs new code for the sake of it. First I look at the goals and the current setup. Sometimes a small theme fix is the right answer. Sometimes there is a system behind the store that needs to change.
My work is practical: scope clearly, build in safe checkpoints, test with real examples, then explain the result in plain English.
Macho / Shopify is one specialist practice within Macho Studio. It focuses on ecommerce while the wider studio also works on apps, websites and connected systems.
The tools serve the problem.
The platform choice should make the merchant’s life easier, not the developer’s portfolio longer.
